Anchor Health is currently seeking an office Volunteer to help in our Napa office ( near Jefferson Street and Lincoln Avenue).
- Time commitment: 1 or 2 hours every week or two
- Time of day is flexible as office is open 9am to 5pm Monday - Friday
The volunteer will help out in our friendy office doing things like packing up our start-of-care bags with supplies, assembling our new patient binders, filing, and other general office duties.
This is a perfect volunteer position for a retired person, a caregiver who is home while the kids are at school, a student, or someone who works from home and has a flexible schedule.
Volunteering with Hospice will give you an opportunity to truly make a difference in another person's life. Every minute you volunteer directly with patients or indirectly administratively helps our patients, their families, and those who care for them.

Anchor Health has many different volunteer opportunites such as having a friendly visit with a hospice patient, pet therapy visits (if you have a certified pet therapy animal), and doing remote volunteering from your home or office.

You will receive an orientation to hospice concepts as well as training for your administrative help, and you will be well-supported and greatly appreciated by patients, their families, and the entire Anchor Health Hospice team. Description
Volunteer Services : Trained volunteers provide support by giving personal health in a companionship and service role. They provide companionship for patients and respite for family members and other health givers, run errands, prepare meals and spend time listening and sharing with the patient and/or family.
