NoSilence NoViolence is a volunteer run non-profit supporting survivors of domestic violence. A valuable member of the volunteer team is needed to support the Board Member who supports the volunteers in providing support and direction to the team. The volunteer team includes social media & communications, newsletters, educational and support groups and event support to the fundraising team. You are the vital glue that keeps the group humming and growing.
The Administrative Support Volunteer would provide:
- emailing of donation requests & follow up for fundraiser
- emailing of sponsorship requests & follow up for fundraiser
- thank you letters & end of year tax donation letters to donors
- updating of systems and processes for communications to volunteers
- emailing of newsletter and/or adding requests to constant contact
- support in training of new volunteers
- request of volunteers to fill out hours document on monthly basis
- Support in making volunteer area robust
- Maintain record of hours volunteered and survivors supported
Skills required;
- excellent communication skills, organization and love the details to support a volunteer team
- can make opportunity what you want and ability to do other roles as well
We are very flexible in what hours to work and how many. Will work with your schedule. We are a lovely group of volunteers who are very supportive to each other.
