CJI seeks dynamic leaders from diverse professions to serve as volunteer Board Members. The CJI Board provides organizational governance and supports CJI's mission to promote trust in Colorado's courts. Board Members are encouraged to serve on CJI’s committees, act as ambassadors, and support the organization financially.

Candidates should demonstrate genuine interest in CJI's mission, the desire to make a difference, and commitment to serve the organization and its mission. In return, CJI provides the satisfaction of "giving back" to a worthy cause, opportunities for leadership, and networking with people who share commitment to CJI's mission.
