For many U.S. Service members, the first year after leaving service is known as "the deadly gap" - a time when veterans face an increased risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Endeavors and Onward Ops have partnered to provide vital services and resources for active duty members transitioning to civilian life. You can join our mission to prevent suicide and help new veterans thrive by becoming a Tranisiton Support Program sponsor.
About the program:
Endeavors' Transiiton Support Program connects new veterans with a sponsor in their community to support them as they settle back into civilian life. Sponsors assist veterans in utilizing valauble resources such as VA benefits, job support, housing assistance and more.
Sponsorship requirements:
Complete Onward Ops Sponsor Application
Complete certification training through the Dept. of Veteran Affairs
Reliable internet access
Available 2 hrs./mo. for a minimum of 1 year
No military affiliation or knowledge required
