Gentiva Hospice volunteer program needs veteran volunteers who are willing to share some of their time to help patients and families who are dealing with end of life issues. Trained hospice volunteers, who are also veterans, will have the unique opportunity to support other veterans who have a life limiting illness. These volunteers will work diretly with pateitns and families to provide such services as: companionship, socialization, particiapte in pinning ceremonies or provide emotional support.
