Volunteer Opportunity: Committee Leader - Marketing Committee
Organization: Helping Others Together (HOT) Community Foundation
Location: West Valley, AZ (Remote & In-Person)
Commitment: Approximately 10 hours per week
As the Marketing Committee Leader, you will oversee HOT’s marketing efforts, ensuring our message reaches the right audience through various channels. You will lead a team of volunteers to create compelling content, manage social media, and develop strategies to promote our programs and events.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a marketing plan to increase HOT’s visibility.
- Oversee social media, website updates, and email campaigns.
- Collaborate with other committees to promote fundraising events and volunteer opportunities.
- Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written materials.
- Engage with local media and community groups to expand outreach.
- Experience in marketing, communications, social media, or related fields.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Ability to create and manage digital content.
- Passion for community service and nonprofit work.
- Approximately 10 hours per week, with flexibility depending on events and campaigns.
- This is an unpaid volunteer position.

Our mission is to unite volunteer and financial resources to create a magical Christmas experience for struggling children and their families in the West Valley.
Description
Helping Others Together (HOT) Community Foundation is a dedicated nonprofit that unites our community to support local children in need.
Thousands of children attending schools in the West Valley live below the poverty line. We work with school districts and other organizations to identify families who are struggling with low income and dealing with chronic illness, physical disabilities, and/or a family crisis. HOT brings hope to some of these struggling children through their Sugar Plum Fairies holiday giving program.
Sugar Plum Fairies delivers a memorable Christmas experience by providing wrapped gifts of clothing, toys, food, and other essentials. Since our inception in 2019, Sugar Plum Fairies has provided a magical Christmas to 674 children and their families.
Our foundation also collaborates with local communities and businesses to raise funds and recruit volunteers, enabling everyone to contribute meaningfully, whether through time, talents, or donations. At HOT, we believe that together, we can make a lasting impact and bring hope to our community's most vulnerable.
