At Amen Hospice, we believe in providing compassionate, patient-centered care during life’s most challenging moments. As a hospice volunteer, you’ll play a key role in offering emotional support and comfort to patients and their families as they navigate the journey of end-of-life care. Your presence will make a significant difference, whether it’s providing companionship, offering respite for caregivers, or assisting with everyday tasks to ease the burden on families.
Volunteers at Amen Hospice may assist with a variety of duties, including spending quality time with patients, running errands, helping with light housekeeping, or providing emotional support for loved ones. Volunteers are also encouraged to contribute to community outreach, special events, and fundraising activities that help support our mission of delivering comprehensive, holistic care to all those we serve.
We value empathy, respect, and the ability to listen with an open heart. Training and ongoing support are provided to ensure you are equipped to serve in a way that aligns with your comfort level and meets the unique needs of each patient and family. Volunteers at Amen Hospice are part of a dedicated team, working alongside healthcare professionals to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients, helping to enhance their quality of life during this important time.
If you have a compassionate spirit, a desire to give back to the community, and a commitment to being there for others when they need it most, we invite you to join the Amen Hospice family. Your time and care will leave a lasting impact.
