PeaceatWorkPlace is a mission-driven organization dedicated to fostering peace, inclusivity, and conflict resolution in workplaces. Through innovative programs, advocacy, and training, we empower organizations to create harmonious work environments where employees thrive. All the coaching and help we provide to employees is free of cost. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Grant Writer to secure funding opportunities and support our mission-driven initiatives.
Role & ResponsibilitiesAs a Grant Writer, you will play a crucial role in securing funding for the organization by researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals. Your key responsibilities will include:
Grant Research & Identification: Identify and evaluate potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporate sources.
Proposal Writing: Develop compelling and persuasive grant proposals tailored to funders' priorities and guidelines.
Collaboration: Work closely with program directors, leadership, and finance teams to ensure accurate and impactful grant submissions.
Compliance & Reporting: Track deadlines, submit progress reports, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
Fundraising Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing a strategic fundraising plan to support organizational growth and sustainability.
Donor Relations: Maintain relationships with funding organizations and seek new opportunities for financial support.
The ideal candidate will possess:
At least 3-5 years of proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or a related field.
A successful track record of securing grants from government agencies, foundations, and corporate donors.
Strong research, writing, and editing skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of nonprofit funding sources and grant compliance requirements.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Passion for workplace peacebuilding, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Part-time role with flexible hours.
Work remotely or hybrid, with occasional in-person meetings/events.
Meet deadlines for grant submissions and reporting.
Contribute to the organization’s financial sustainability and growth.
- 5% of grant amount goes back to volunteers. Chance of converting this to be a full time paid role

Description
At Peace@WorkPlace coaches will work with employees one-on-one listening to the crisis issues at work. As a coach you will provide a step-by-step approach on how to approach your problem. Employees can setup an appointment with any of the available coaches using calendly. As a coach you will go through in-depth training on how to guide you and help people in work place crisis situations.
