The Direct Action Response Team (DART) is a disaster response organization focused on providing targeted support during emergencies. Our mission is to take direct action in response to natural and man-made disasters to lessen the burden on first responders and evacuate people from dangerous situations.

We are seeking a dedicated Fundraising Coordinator to lead and execute our fundraising initiatives, ensuring we meet critical goals for training, equipment, and deployment readiness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies and campaigns (online and event-based).
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Plan and manage fundraising events, from concept to execution.
  • Create compelling fundraising materials and social media content in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising performance, adjusting strategies to maximize outcomes.
  • Assist in applying for relevant grants and managing donor relations.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in fundraising, marketing, or event planning.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop unique fundraising ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
  • Passion for disaster response and community support.
  • Knowledge of crowdfunding platforms and social media fundraising (preferred but not required).

DART recruits and trains highly skilled volunteers, including veterans and first responders, equipping them with cutting-edge technology and comprehensive training to ensure readiness for any emergency. Our veteran-led teams deliver critical support in search and rescue operations, medical aid, and logistical coordination, working closely with local authorities and emergency services. With a commitment to excellence, integrity, and community engagement, DART strives to be the premier national disaster response organization, making a significant impact in disaster response and recovery efforts.
