Thelma's Kitchen is Kansas City's first Pay-It-Forward cafe that supports the work and mission of Reconciliation Services. We are looking for volunteers to support our cafe operations in the cafe space, including kitchen prep work and forward facing food service work in the cafe space. Volunteers will spend time in the kitchen and on the serving line at Thelma's Kitchen providing low cost and no cost meals to our neighbors and community. Volunteers will have the option to greet, serve, bus tables, or wash dishes depending on the shift they sign up for. Most shifts require standing for a long period of time.
