As a Thrift Shop Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission by assisting with daily operations, organizing merchandise, and creating a welcoming shopping experience for customers. Your efforts will help generate funds for our Women's Shelter, ensuring that we continue to serve the community.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, price, and organize donated items.
- Assist customers with finding items and answering questions.
- Maintain a clean and inviting store environment.
- Help with cashiering and processing transactions (if applicable).
- Display merchandise attractively to enhance the shopping experience.
- Support donation intake by accepting, sorting, and categorizing items.
Qualifications:
- Friendly and customer-service oriented.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Comfortable with light physical activity (lifting, bending, organizing).
- Passion for giving back to the community.
