ORGANIZATION: Amherst H. Wilder Foundation

CDC WOTYC

Share your knowledge of nutrition with our Child Development Center team! Parents and guardians can expect the highest quality learning and care for their children ages 16 months to 5 years with year-round enrollment at Wilder’s Child Development Center.

We provide breakfast, snack and lunch to the toddlers and preschoolers we serve, and we are looking to mix up menu ideas for breakfasts and snacks. • Meet with Center Director to learn about current menu plans, ideas, and challenges.
  • Review current menu and share ideas for future breakfast and snack menu items that will appeal to kids and meet nutritional requirements.
  • Once ready, meet with the Director to talk about the ideas and make any adjustments or additional suggestions as needed.
  • Provide basic nutritional guidance or resources related to the menu ideas you share.
  • May be the option to volunteer again in a few months after we have tried the new ideas.

Qualifications:

  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Background in nutrition with a degree and experience in the field.
  • Complete a criminal background check (cost covered by Wilder).
  • Highly respectful of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Dependable and on time.
