Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities and other funding sources, including foundations, corporations, and government programs;
- Write, edit, and submit grant proposals to secure funding for programs related to public health and environmental topics;
- Develop and execute fundraising campaigns to reach new donors and engage current supporters;
- Track and manage grant deadlines and maintain records of submissions, follow-ups, and awards;
- Managing budgets and reporting on grant-funded projects;
- Collaborate with our team to understand funding needs and align proposals with organizational goals and objectives;
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in grant writing, fundraising, and donation practices.
Desired Competencies
· Excellent written and verbal communication and research skills;
· Proficient in using various grant, fundraising, and donor management platforms;
· Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines;
· Strong ability to work both independently and with a team;
· Familiarity with public health and environmental issues or a willingness to learn.
