Are you interested in spending time with visually impaired sailors and maybe get out on the water too?
RESPONSIBILITIESHelp with various tasks in helping the sailors and sighted guides prepare to go out on the water. If room allows, also come sailing! By signing up to be an onshore volunteer, you may be asked to take on any three of the following roles. The role you are assigned for each session is dependent on the number of sailors and onshore volunteers signed up for each session. Your role assignment will be announced in the weekly boat pairings email sent out by the SailBlind Director.
COMMITMENTOur sessions take place on Saturdays June 7th through September 20th from 9am to 12pm. Sign up for as few or as many Saturday sessions as you’d like! We will have an advanced sign up sheet that we use and encourage guides to sign up for weekends in advance so we can plan accordingly!
