ORGANIZATION: Rise

We are seeking volunteers to help enrich the lives of the people with disabilities in our programs. Volunteers come to our program and engage the people we support in meaningful activities. This could be crafts, cooking, woodworking, gardening, discussing history, book clubs and more. Movement activities are particularly needed, but the possibilities are endless and can be centered around your own interests and passions!

Program activities are generally between 10am and 1pm, Monday through Friday. We are hoping for a recurring volunteer to lead the group for at least 1 hour, but scheduling is flexible. Volunteers should be outgoing, respectful, and comfortable engaging with people with disabilities. The volunteer will need a background check.

We are in particular need of someone to lead activities at our Mounds View and Cottage Grove locations, but we have many locations throughout the twin cities metro area (and New Richmond, Wisconsin).
