If you like to talk, this opportunity to make phone calls to hospice patients may be for you. PHone calls are made on a weekly basis to check in on our patients. You will communicate with the patient, family or caregiver to ensure they patient has what they need over the weekend and/or holiday. This helps the hospice staff plan and prepare for support and deliveries of needed items when the office is closed as well as monitoring the comfort and care of the patient. Please respond to this post if you are interested in this opportunity. *Must reside in the USA.

Description
For patients on hospice care, volunteers play an essential role. Whether they’re simply being present with a patient or helping behind the scenes, volunteers help create trusting bonds and meaningful memories for hospice patients and their loved ones. Just as volunteers are important to hospice patients, hospice patients make service work rewarding for volunteers. Hospice volunteers provide comfort, compassion and care for people as they near the end of life.
