She’s Going Places, a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting and empowering women and girls, is seeking a Vice President to help guide our strategic vision and expand our impact. She’s Going Places provides women and girls with essential resources, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Through education, leadership training, and outreach initiatives, we break barriers and create lasting change in underserved communities.

Role Overview:

As Vice President, you will work alongside the President, Board of Directors, and leadership team to oversee governance, drive fundraising efforts, and support strategic decision-making. Your leadership will play a vital role in expanding She’s Going Places’ programs, outreach, and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Support the President in setting and executing the nonprofit’s vision and goals.
• Assist with board development, governance, and policy implementation.
• Lead or support fundraising efforts, donor relations, and sponsorship development.
• Represent the organization in public events, networking opportunities, and stakeholder meetings.
• Provide guidance on strategic initiatives, including branding, program growth, and community engagement.
• Step in for the President when needed, ensuring smooth operations.
• Foster a positive, mission-driven culture among board members and volunteers.

Ideal Candidate:

• Leadership experience in nonprofit management, business, or community development.
• Passionate about women’s empowerment, education, and advocacy.
• Strong skills in fundraising, strategic planning, and organizational leadership.
• Excellent public speaking, networking, and relationship-building abilities.
• A commitment to actively participating in board meetings and initiatives (estimated 5-10 hours per month).

Location & Commitment:

Remote or Hybrid (if local to Southern California)
Estimated 5-10 hours/month (flexible schedule)
