The Hope Horizon East Palo Alto Staff is seeking an experienced individual to work on-site at the
front desk to support the function of the Hope Horizon East Palo Alto organization. The Receptionist, a key member of the Hope Horizon Operations Team, is responsible for Hope Horizon general communication with visitors, volunteers, and parents. They will maintain the lobby security and work within Hope Horizon’s systems to maintain ongoing facility safety. The Receptionist will also manage the copy room, handle administrative duties, and support general operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for front desk duties including, but not limited to general building/visitor security,
answering the main phone line, general email, and greeting visitors and volunteers
* Basic clerical duties include but are not limited to maintaining lobby area upkeep, community
board updates, mail processing, staff contact roster, organizational wish list, and photo archive
* Support in maintaining the online program database for student enrollment (Breeze)
* Assist with any ad hoc projects that may arise
* Have a basic understanding of details of programs and how they are executed, provided by
Hope Horizon East Palo Alto
* Collect program fees in collaboration with Program Staff and Director of Operations.
* Provide Program Staff support
* Collaborate with Hope Horizon East Palo Alto Program Managers per the needs of the
students and families during program hours
* Communicate effectively in a supportive manner with parents and guardians of Hope Horizon
EPA students
* Follow and maintain all Hope Horizon policies and procedures as they pertain to student
safety and industry standards
* Provide caring and comforting basic first aid to students as needed

Hope Horizon serves youth in the East Palo Alto community, meeting practical and spiritual needs through leadership training, spiritual development and life skills application. HH programs continue to grow and effectively serve over 200 youth participants each year in small group settings with individualized attention. Our programs are open to any youth in East Palo Alto, regardless of disability, race, religion or ethnic origin.
