Mission Statement

Thrift On Purpose is a Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) partner nonprofit organization, committed to Christian faith in action, through supporting the primary goals of MCC by operating as a thrift store.

Description

Thrift on Purpose seeks to relieve poverty and assist those in need by selling merchandise, substantially all of which has been donated, and by providing funds to support the global programs of MCC. The mission of MCC is to share God’s love and compassion for all in the name of Christ by responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice.

Thrift on Purpose can only succeed with the help of our faithful volunteers! There are opportunities for weekly, monthly, or one-time volunteers. Come as an individual or bring your group for a meaningful volunteer experience. Volunteers shop at a 20% discount in the store.
