Volunteer for our 5K/10K race at Bolsa Chica State Beach! Running is for the Birds is a historic race in Huntington Beach that was brought back for the first time in 20 years in 2023. Help us ensure this year's race is a success!
- Race Day: Saturday, April 26th, 5:30-11:30am
- Note: volunteering for the entire time is not required. Please list your available time when registering on RunSignup.
- All volunteers will receive a free T-shirt and free beach parking for the day of the event.

Description
The Amigos de Bolsa Chica is one of the oldest and most successful environmental preservation organizations in California. We rely upon members, volunteers and the community to continue fulfilling our mission.
The Amigos de Bolsa Chica is a 501(c)3 foundation that was formed in 1976 by a small group of Huntington Beach citizens who were concerned about the loss of a rare and valuable piece of open space, the Bolsa Chica wetland.
Over the years the Amigos have provided off-site programs and guided tours of the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve for thousands of school children and adults.
