Mission Statement
Inner City Bliss (ICB) creates wellness, resilience, and empowerment of historically marginalized children and adults in the Bay Area through trauma-informed mindfulness-based programs, workshops, and outdoor learning experiences. Our initiatives were specifically designed to increase access to culturally sensitive mental health resources among BIPOC communities with a holistic health approach.
Description
The primary goal of Inner City Bliss (ICB) is to create holistic wellness and empowerment within BIPOC communities in Oakland. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals and families can overcome systemic barriers, heal from generational trauma, and build resilience. By offering innovative programs in mindfulness, physical activity, nature outings, and community gardening, we aim to support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our members.
