The Sponsorship Manager plays a critical role in securing funding and resources for the Brickell Miami Chamber's programs and events. This volunteer position involves identifying potential sponsors, building relationships, and creating compelling sponsorship proposals to support the Chamber's mission and initiatives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Identify Sponsorship Opportunities: - Research and identify local businesses, corporations, and organizations that align with the Chamber’s values and mission. - Develop a list of potential sponsors for various Chamber events and programs. 2. Build Relationships: - Establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential sponsors. - Network with local businesses to promote the benefits of sponsorship with the Chamber. 3. Develop Sponsorship Proposals: - Create tailored sponsorship packages that outline the benefits and visibility sponsors will receive. - Prepare and present sponsorship proposals to potential sponsors. 4. Manage Sponsorship Agreements: - Negotiate sponsorship terms and agreements in collaboration with the Executive Director. - Ensure all sponsorship commitments are fulfilled, including recognition at events and in marketing materials. 5. Track Sponsorship Contributions: - Maintain records of sponsorship agreements, contributions, and benefits delivered. - Provide reports to the Executive Director on sponsorship revenue and activities. 6. Collaborate with Event Coordinator: - Work closely with the Events Coordinator to identify sponsorship needs for specific events and programs. - Ensure sponsors are recognized appropriately during events. 7. Engage and Retain Sponsors: - Develop strategies for ongoing communication and engagement with sponsors to foster long-term partnerships. - Solicit feedback from sponsors to improve offerings and experiences. Qualifications: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Experience in sales, marketing, or fundraising is a plus. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Organized and detail-oriented with strong time-management skills. - Passion for the local community and the mission of the Brickell Miami Chamber.
