The Miami Brickell Chamber of Commerce is looking for a passionate and organized individual to serve as the Head of Volunteer Onboarding. This role is essential in shaping the volunteer experience, ensuring that new volunteers feel welcomed, informed, and engaged from the moment they join our team. You will have the opportunity to create a positive impact on our volunteers and the community we serve. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program for new volunteers. - Create onboarding materials, including training manuals, orientation presentations, and welcome packets. - Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new volunteers to the Chamber’s mission, values, and programs. - Serve as a primary point of contact for new volunteers, addressing questions and providing support. - Collaborate with various teams to ensure volunteers are matched with opportunities that align with their skills and interests. - Monitor and evaluate the onboarding process, gathering feedback to continuously improve the experience. **Qualifications:** - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. - Experience in volunteer management, training, or human resources is a plus. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - A passion for community engagement and volunteerism. **Benefits:** - Lead the development of a welcoming and effective onboarding experience for new volunteers. - Build valuable skills in training, management, and community outreach. - Network with local businesses, community leaders, and fellow volunteers. - Make a meaningful contribution to the growth of the Brickell community.
