  • Attending the monthly action team meeting either in person or on Zoom
  • Contributing ideas over email
  • Advocating for people living with dementia and their care partners
  • Participating in one or more of our subcommittees:
    • Businesses - Current project: Rolling out a dementia certification program to local organizations
    • Community Spaces - Current project: Developing a list of dementia-friendly activities in our area and to build relationships with local museums, libraries, theaters, etc.
    • Faith Communities - Current project: Reaching out to provide Dementia Friends sessions and other resources to local faith communities
    • Medical Professionals - Current project: Compiling a packet of materials for people who were recently diagnosed with dementia
    • Transportation - Current project: Developing a list of tips for traveling
