We are seeking a motivated and creative LinkedIn & Public Relations Outreach Specialist to join our team as a volunteer. This role will focus on enhancing our online presence, engaging with our members and the wider community, and promoting upcoming events and initiatives through effective PR strategies.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Social Media Management:**
- Develop and implement a strategy for enhancing our LinkedIn presence, including regular updates, member spotlights, and event promotions.
- Create engaging content tailored to our audience that reflects the Chamber's mission and values.

- **Public Relations Outreach:**
- Identify and build relationships with local media outlets, influencers, and community leaders to promote the Chamber’s activities and initiatives.
- Draft and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials to support outreach efforts.

- **Content Creation:**
- Collaborate with team members to create compelling narratives and promotional content that highlights our events, success stories, and community impact.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and visual content for our campaigns.

- **Event Promotion:**
- Help coordinate and promote Chamber events through social media and PR channels.
- Engage with members and the community to encourage participation and attendance at events.

**Qualifications:**

- Strong understanding of LinkedIn and public relations principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and ability to develop engaging content.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and PR platforms.
- Passion for community engagement and supporting local businesses.
- Previous experience in social media management, PR, or marketing is a plus.
