Join our volunteer community! Hospice Care Center Reception Volunteers Needed.EvergreenHealth Hospice is one of the few remaining not-for-profit Hospice services in the region. We support patients and their families all over King and Snohomish counties. We rely on caring neighbors to bring the gift of touch to our patients. Hospice Care Center Reception Volunteers are the first people to greet patients, visitors, and staff at the Gene & Irene Wockner Hospice Care Center on the EvergreenHealth campus in Kirkland. You are the warm and friendly face welcoming your neighbors at a difficult time. All volunteers complete a comprehensive Hospice Core Training and specialized position training. We will teach you the practical and emotional skills you need to confidently spend time alongside the dying while helping them enjoy their life.
Hospice Care Center Reception Volunteers are integral members of the hospice team. They are supported by the Volunteer Coordinators, the Hospice Care Center social workers, and, if needed, by our Bereavement Coordinators.
Ongoing hospice education, support meetings, and friendly volunteer gatherings are offered throughout the year.If you would like to support your community, please visit our website for more information and to apply: https://www.evergreenhealth.com/about-us/volunteer/volunteering-kirkland/hospice-volunteer-services/22 More opportunities with EvergreenHealth
