Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity testing and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and applications.

• Provide detailed recommendations for security improvements to align with industry best practices and organizational needs.

• Continuously monitor cloud-based systems for potential threats, unauthorized access, and anomalies.

• Manage and respond to security incidents, errors, and breaches promptly and effectively.

• Develop and maintain risk management processes, including threat identification, impact assessment, and mitigation strategies.

• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure proactive defense strategies.

• Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to implement recommended security changes and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

• Design and deliver security awareness training sessions for staff and volunteers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related role

• Proficiency in tools like SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), antivirus programs, and firewalls.

• Knowledge of network security, operating system security (Windows/Linux), and cloud security platforms.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to train and guide non-technical staff on cybersecurity matters.
