Calling all Volunteers and Cancer Fighters!!
Join the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) in cheering on our AACR Runners for Research athletes as they tackle the 2025 IBX Broad Street Run (the largest 10 mile footrace in the world)! Our athletes have been training hard and fundraising for months - let's cheer them on and show our support on race day!
Date/Time: Sunday, May 4, 2025 - Starts at 7:30 AM. Ends around 10:30 AM
Location: In front of South Philadelphia HS, along the East Side of Broad Street between Snyder Ave. and Jackson St. *Easily accessible from SEPTA - Broad Street Line (Snyder Avenue)*
Bring your enthusiasm! Posters, pompoms, noisemakers, and anything else to make some noise are welcome! Please wear GREEN to show your AACR support. Snacks and water will be provided and we’re happy to also provide community service documentation if needed.

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) is the first and largest cancer research organization dedicated to accelerating the conquest of cancer. Our mission is to cure cancer through research, education, communication and collaboration.
Our resources do not just fund fellowships and scholarships for cancer researchers in some of the leading hospitals, labs and research institutes around the world. We're also making investments into career training of cancer researchers, encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration and creating avenues for information sharing amongst not just doctors and cancer researchers, but patients and families as well.
