OneSynergee seeks a highly motivated Grants Researcher & Writer to support our international youth reinvestment program. This role involves designing, preparing, and implementing grant applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project leaders as an integral member of the Grants Program team.
  • Develop, prepare, and submit compelling grant applications.
  • Research and identify potential local, state, federal, and private foundation funding sources.
  • Develop expertise in fund development principles and public relations.
  • Review grant proposals and applications for completeness, accuracy, and timely submission.
  • Manage grant applications, coordinating with various departments throughout the application and monitoring processes to ensure successful awards and compliance.
  • Create a grants administration work plan with defined goals, objectives, and measurable workload indicators.
  • Attend virtual team meetings as scheduled in the EST time zone.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple demands and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Fundraising experience or education preferred.
  • Associate's degree or 6+ months of equivalent experience (full-time paid corporate/non-profit work experience).
