Help plant trees to celebrate Arbor Day. The community needs your help.
The work is outdoors and provides some excersize and fresh air. The event Will be held on Saturday morning, May 3, 2025. No experience is necessary, as we can teach you what to do.
Community volunteers will plant approximately 60 trees along Pipers Glen Drive in Lafayette. Trees have many benefits for the neighborhood, the community, and the environment. Join us for some fresh air, fun, exercise, and satisfaction that you are helping the community and the environment. Planting holes will be pre-dug. All tools and materials needed will be supplied. Each team will plant 2 or 3 trees. Children are welcome with adult supervision. Free event.
Arbor Day is a celebration of trees and also a call for each of us to do our part in protecting and caring for our existing trees and forests, and planting more trees.
Volunteer check-in - 8:30am to 9:00am

The Lafayette Tree Fund, Inc., doing business as Tree Lafayette, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which plants and maintains trees primarily on public property or rights-of-way (mainly along streets) in Lafayette, Indiana and educates about and promotes trees. Since our beginning in 1993, Tree Lafayette has planted more than 3,700 trees in the Greater Lafayette, Indiana community.
