Volunteer as a Room Manager for Programs for Older Adults

The Center for Modern Aging Princeton is seeking dedicated
and reliable volunteers to serve as Room Managers-key members
of our team who help ensure smooth operations before, during,
and after our programs.


As a Room Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up and breaking down rooms for programs (arranging
    tables, chairs, and video/audio equipment).
  • Opening and starting hybrid programs, ensuring everything is ready
    for participants.
  • Performing light cleaning duties, such as disposing of trash
    and organizing spaces (e.g., resetting closets).
  • Assisting with check-ins at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming
    environment.
  • Calling participants to help with program registrations and
    reminders for important appointments (e.g., AARP, Medicare).


Volunteers in this role will work in a dynamic environment, supporting
a variety of programs while interacting with members of the community.
