Wish Granter for Make-A-Wish

ORGANIZATION: Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.

Wish granter volunteers go in and interview the wish kids to determine their wishes, and then act as a liaison between the families and the Make-a-Wish staff to help make the wishes happen.

We are looking for volunteers who live in or can travel to North and Northeast Philadelphia to help with the wish granting. Bilingual abilities are a plus!

Founded in 1986, Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Make-A-Wish serves a unique, and vital, role in helping strengthen and empower children battling critical illnesses. Fulfilling a child’s wish provides a joyful and meaningful experience that benefits both the child and the family.

Make-A-Wish (r) seeks the best people to fulfill our vision of granting a wish for every eligible child. Every person who joins us commits to this vision - and uses it as a guide in every action.

Our staff lives the Make-A-Wish values in the pursuit of granting wishes. From program services and operations to fundraising and brand advancement, every staff member fulfills a vital role in our mission.
