Hoyt Arboretum Friends (HAF) is seeking passionate leaders to join our Board of Directors in May 2025!
We’re looking for 3-5 new board members, especially individuals with connections to diverse communities or culturally specific organizations in Portland. We welcome applicants and nominees with experience in fundraising, education, horticulture, finance, marketing, or construction. Most importantly, applicants and nominees should have a passion for the Arboretum’s mission. No prior board experience is necessary.
This is an exciting time for Hoyt Arboretum as we explore a future capital campaign to expand and enhance our facilities for plant care, education, and visitor services. Your leadership can help shape this next chapter.
Please visit https://www.hoytarboretum.org/support/volunteer/board-of-directors to learn more about the HAF board and the recruitment process, including two information sessions on March 13 and March 18.
Applications and nominations will be accepted through March 31, 2025.
