We are excited to announce the upcoming TBCC Community Giveaway, taking place on Saturday, March 29th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 459 W. 79th Street, Chicago, IL. This event is a wonderful opportunity to support our community by providing essential items to those in need, and we would love your help to make it a success!

We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to assist with:
  • Setting up and organizing items before the event
  • Welcoming community members and distributing items
  • Helping with clean-up after the event
Your time and energy can make a meaningful difference, and we’d be honored to have you as part of our team. Whether you can assist for the full event or just part of the time, your support would be greatly appreciated! Volunteer Details:

Mission Statement

Our mission is to foster community relations throughout the local community by collaborating with community partners to offer supportive services for youth/young adults aged 11 to 24 in the Auburn Gresham, Englewood, Greater Grand Crossing, and the Chatham communities, empowering young women and men to live healthy, productive lives.

Description

For a decade, TBCC has been at the forefront of delivering impactful services in our targeted areas, gaining valuable experience in supporting high-risk individuals and families. Our focus encompasses mentoring, social-emotional learning, service learning, employment, delinquency prevention, and poverty alleviation. Proudly holding a CARF International accreditation for community youth development, which is a testament to our unwavering dedication to delivering high-quality services.

Through our After School Leadership Program, Summer Camp Program, and Case Management Services we wholeheartedly embrace the challenges that youth face. Our core passion is on creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth. Our programs offer a diverse range of activities, including mentorship, leadership development, and workforce training, all designed to empower the youth of Chicago's South Side.
