Role Summary:
The Director of Communications will lead the charity’s communication strategy, ensuring our message reaches key audiences, strengthens our brand, and supports fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a communications strategy to raise awareness of Light Up Children’s work.
Manage social media, website content, and email campaigns.
Oversee press outreach, public relations, and storytelling efforts.
Support fundraising and donor engagement through compelling content.
Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and external communications.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience in communications, PR, or marketing.
Strong writing, editing, and digital content creation skills.
Passion for storytelling and amplifying the voices of those we support.

The reason we are doing this is because Congo is teamed with talent and potential and what's hampering their progress is the lack of means.

Since 2019, we have provided food, education, and essential care to vulnerable children, helping them build a brighter future. Our mission is to uplift and empower children through sustainable programs, ensuring they have access to safety, support, and opportunities to thrive. By working with local communities and partners, we create lasting change, giving every child the chance to reach their full potential.
