Volunteer Opportunity: Join the YouthVoice Wellness Connect Podcast Team!

Are you passionate about youth wellness and mental health? Do you want to help amplify the voices of high schoolers as they discuss real-life challenges and experiences?

The YouthVoice Wellness Connect Podcast is looking for volunteers to support our weekly podcast, where high school students share their thoughts on important topics affecting today’s youth.

Commitment: March 1 - End of December
When: Wednesdays, 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Where: [Specify location or virtual]
Hosted by: A team of three dedicated hosts, featuring a new guest each week

Volunteer Roles Available:

  • Podcast Coordinator - Assist with scheduling guests and planning discussion topics
  • Audio/Video Editor - Help with editing and producing high-quality episodes
  • Podcast Setup & Technical Support - Assist with setting up equipment, sound checks, and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Community Outreach - Connect with schools, organizations, and students to encourage participation

Counselors in the Community Alliance- CITCA serves disadvantaged individuals throughout the United States from urban & rural communities with mental and behavioral health resources by increasing access to services, resources and support for children, adults and families impacted by poverty and poverty-related issues and bridge the gaps to strengthen community resilience through stewardship, economic opportunities, health and education equity.

Description

CITCA is a national 501c3 on a powerful mission to increase strengthen mental health awareness and community resilience. Our association includes a collaborative alliance among counselors, mental health professionals, and community members nationwide engaging in civic community activities that promote mental health awareness and resiliency. Through such allyship the organization strengthens anti-poverty initiatives that bridge the gaps on access to care and socioeconomic resources including programs, education and employment resources.

Since incorporating the nonprofit has been driving impact in social emotional learning, SEL and increasing access to counseling services for low income families. The organization also offer programs for youth leadership development, advocacy, community resources and programs that contribute to prosocial development and other services to close equity gaps

We are seeking volunteers to serve with us who share similar passions to increase mental health awareness and strengthen communities. Volunteers are the driving force our mission would be incomplete without and we welcome all with a passion too serve.
