Position Summary
The Prospect Researcher is responsible for creating and maintaining our donor database, conducting research and supporting the team to move prospects along the Fund Development Process. The Prospect Researcher is a detail-oriented individual with strong research and database management skills and a hands-on approach to fund development.
This role will report to the Fund Development Manager. The Prospect Researcher works within the guidelines, policies, and mission of the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conducts research and prepares prospect lists and profiles
Creates a secure donor database
Maintains and analyzes donor data in accordance to the Donor Bill of Rights
Supports the team in moving prospects along the Fund Development process
Keeps track of our progress towards our goals and sets activity reminders for the team
Qualifications
Graduated or enrolled in a University degree or community college diploma program.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Strong project management skills and an ability to multi-task
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Sound computer skills including operating Google Suite.
