ORGANIZATION: Imagine Cities

Position Summary

The Donor Relations Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing engagement strategies to effectively steward donor relationships. The Donor Relations Specialist is a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a hands-on approach to fund development.

This role will report to the Fund Development Manager. The Donor Relations Specialist works within the guidelines, policies, and mission of the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conducts research and prepares prospect lists and profiles

  • Maintains and analyzes donor data in accordance to the Donor Bill of Rights

  • Supports the team in writing grant applications and cases for support

  • Coordinates donor impact reporting.

  • Contributes to development of promotional materials across multi media platforms

  • Creates and recommends effective recognition and stewardship program for donors

Qualifications

  • Graduated or enrolled in a University degree or community college diploma program.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong project management skills and an ability to multi-task

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Sound computer skills including operating Google Suite.
