Mission Statement

Inner City Bliss (ICB) creates wellness, resilience, and empowerment of historically marginalized children and adults in the Bay Area through trauma-informed mindfulness-based programs, workshops, and outdoor learning experiences. Our initiatives were specifically designed to increase access to culturally sensitive mental health resources among BIPOC communities with a holistic health approach.

The primary goal of Inner City Bliss (ICB) is to create holistic wellness and empowerment within BIPOC communities in Oakland. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals and families can overcome systemic barriers, heal from generational trauma, and build resilience.
