Mission Statement
We grant dreams to critically and chronically ill children from the ages of three through eighteen.
Description
In 1980, The Dream Factory began with a dream for Tammy Keel in Hopkinsville, KY. Since then, The Dream Factory has grown into the largest all-volunteer children’s wish-granting organization in the United States, while maintaining a grassroots approach. Because we do not employ people on a local level, 96.1% of all money raised by The Dream Factory is used to grant the dreams of critically and chronically ill children. This record of success has been recognized by Charity Navigator who awarded the organization a 4-star rating each year since 2011, a feat attained by less than 5-percent of charities evaluated. Charity Navigator is the largest and most utilized evaluator of charities.
We are looking to not only strengthen our existing chapters, but also create chapters in new areas. We need volunteers for both initiatives! Find a list of our current chapters at www.dreamfactoryinc.org/find-a-chapter/. We have the best volunteers in the world! You can also email tommie.kendall@dreamfactoryinc.org for more information.
