Clarifi is launching an annual VITA [Volunteer Income Tax Assistance] service, a sponsored program allowing taxpayers to receive free filing support from tax law-certified volunteers. Clients are empowered to use provided software [similar to Intuit Turbo Tax] for simple returns and volunteers provide assistance when needed.
Each year, VITA sites open across the country with thousands of volunteers that are passionate about helping others and sharing financial education. Whether it’s helping community members learn about benefits such as Earned Income Tax Credit [EITC] or Child Tax Credit [CTC]-- your role as a VITA volunteer makes a direct impact in the lives of your neighbors.
