Volunteers can support patients and families through performing tasks such as grocery shopping. We are looking for a volunteer to assist with grocery shopping to pick up food and other supplies for a home patient.
This simple task can become difficult for a patient and family at the end of life and providing assistance at this crucial time can make a real difference. VITAS Volunteer Orienation is provided free of charge to help you learn the skills required to be an outstanding hospice volunteer. The days and times for volunteering are flexible according to your availability. VITAS appreciates any time you are able to contribute for volunteering.
