AFFCB is looking for volunteers ready to make a difference in their community!

Join our team and directly serve and engage with local community members.

Choose a specific day of the week Monday-Friday and serve a full shift from 8am-12pm weekly.

Front Desk Volunteers Responsibilities

  • Verify ID's and Proof of Addres for clients reciving Emergency Food Boxes ID's.
  • Help Clients fill out their paperwork if needed.
  • Check in clients to recieve a daily lunch.
  • Check in clients to take a shower and clean shower after each use.
  • Help maintain order and cleanliness in the main lobby.

Description

The Agua Fria Food and Clothing Bank provides emergency food boxes for families, daily lunches and showers for individuals without shelter, supplemental food boxes for seniors, baby care bags for children 0-12 months of age, as well as clothing and small household items to those in need in the southwest valley.
