Are you passionate about supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs? Do you have experience in fundraising or a desire to develop your skills in nonprofit development? San Francisco SCORE is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator to help us expand our impact in the community.

About San Francisco SCORE:

San Francisco SCORE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to mentoring and supporting small business owners and entrepreneurs. Our team of experienced volunteers provides free, confidential business advice and educational workshops to help businesses thrive.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support SCORE’s programs and operations.

- Identify potential funding sources, including grants, sponsorships, and individual donors.

- Assist in writing grant applications and sponsorship proposals.

- Organize fundraising events and campaigns to engage the community and corporate partners.

- Build relationships with local businesses and donors to increase financial support.

- Collaborate with the SCORE leadership team to set fundraising goals and track progress.

Qualifications:

- Passion for small business development and nonprofit work.

- Experience in fundraising, grant writing, event planning, or donor relations (preferred but not required).

- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to dedicate a few hours per week to support fundraising efforts.
