Role Role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media/ Graphics Specialist to help us raise awareness about our work and engage with our community. This role is crucial in sharing our story and building support for affordable housing initiatives.This is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families in need. To support our mission of providing affordable housing within Silverthorn, Briar Hill-Belgravia, Caledonia-Fairbank, Oakwood-Vaughan, Keelesdale.
ResponsibilitiesCreate engaging content for our website, social media channels, and newsletters.
Manage media relations and build relationships with local journalists.
Assist with the development of marketing materials, such as brochures and flyers.
Track and analyze communication metrics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
Ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target audience.
Experience with website management (preferred).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Passion for affordable housing and community development.
Time commitment: 5-10 hours per week, flexible schedule

The Eglinton Vaughan Community Land Trust (EVCLT) is a grassroots movement born out the resilience and determination of the residents of Oakwood Vaughan Community Organization (OVCO) and Keele- Eglinton. United by shared vision of a diverse and engaged community, we are reclaiming control over our neighbourhood's future through the establishment of a Community Land Trust (CLT). At our core, we believe that housing is a fundamental human right, and we are taking bold action to ensure safe, affordable, and dignified housing for all.
