Mentor A Promise is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students experiencing housing instability in NYC.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Newsletter Writer to join our team and help drive engagement with our audience through compelling, informative, and visually appealing newsletters. The ideal candidate will have a strong writing background, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to transform complex topics into easy-to-read, engaging content. This role involves writing content for our newsletters, ensuring they align with our mission, vision and our values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Write clear, engaging, and original content for newsletters, including recaps on news articles, recaps on events and unique insights on current events
  • Audience Research: Understand the target audience and create content that is relevant, interesting, and tailored to their preferences and needs.

We connect students with our mentors for in-person and online programs.
