Tax Research Specialist

The Tax Project Institute is developing a groundbreaking tool that calculates an individual's total tax contribution, including all federal, state, and local taxes (direct and indirect). We are seeking passionate volunteers with a background in tax and finance to assist in this exciting project.
We are particularly interested in individuals with:
- An interest in tax and finance: Even if you don't have professional certifications, a strong understanding of tax concepts is valuable.
- Research and analytical skills: You'll be researching tax laws and regulations, analyzing data, and identifying key insights.
- Tax Rules: You'll be helping build the formulas, and business logic to calculate an individuals total contributions.
- A desire to make a difference: Your contributions will help us create a valuable tool that empowers individuals with financial knowledge.
No prior experience is required, but we welcome volunteers with backgrounds in:
- Tax preparation
- Accounting /Book Keeping
- Finance
- Economics
