An invasive species event that will have you home in time for tea!
Pip pip tally ho, for there are vines strangling native plants like a too-tight corset! We eagerly seek thy help in removing ye olde English Ivy from Fort Dupont on Tuesday, 25 February. Don thy best outdoor dress for a merry afternoon of pulling and snipping this invasive vine to conserve the fort's resident plant species.
Thou ought to congregate at the Fort Dupont Activity Center (or should it be "centre"?) at 1200 hours (that is, 12:00 PM), to receive tools and training before the fun begins. There is plenty of automobile parking available.
What are you waiting for, mate? Sign up this instant! Good day.
