Role Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic Board Members to join Ready to Empower (RTE), a dynamic nonprofit focused on mental health and women’s empowerment. Volunteers will provide guidance, oversight, and expertise in key areas to support our mission.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with expertise they’d like to share but limited availability for operational tasks or regular board meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Serve on a committee and contribute to organizational leadership and advisement.
Oversee policies, procedures, and programmatic initiatives.
Review organizational reports and help promote RTE’s mission.
Assist with fundraising and outreach efforts.
Financially support RTE with a "give or get" contribution valued at $5,000 annually (including in-kind donations,campaigns and event tickets).
Time Commitment
- Serve a two-year term, renewable upon approval. Attend three 90-minute board meetings annually.
Length of term
- two years, which may be renewed, pending approval of the board.
Expectations
Actively participate in meetings and special events.
Stay informed about RTE’s mission, policies, programs, and financial needs.
Represent RTE within your network and community.

Ready to Empower partners & equip leaders of women-focused organizations to elevate women in their communities by deploying our turn-key Empowerment Program, a holistic mental health and social service program that is tailored to the needs of the community being served. RTE helps foster the empowerment of women by leveraging local leadership to implement the Empowerment Program in their communities, as the catalyst for change. This partnership enables a holistic approach ensuring comprehensive support.
