Are you passionate about adaptive sports and skilled in social media? Join the United States Volt Hockey Association as a Content Creator to help grow awareness of Volt Hockey! This volunteer role involves creating engaging content-photos, videos, and graphics-to promote the sport, highlight teams and players, and showcase the impact of Volt Hockey across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Whether you come in person to practices to take photos and videos for content, or work remote in partnership with our coaches and volunteers, we have a role for you!
Responsibilities:- Develop and schedule engaging posts for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Edit photos and videos that highlight Volt Hockey teams, events, and athletes.
- Create compelling stories, reels, and short-form videos to increase engagement.
- Work with the USVHA and Volt Hockey teams to align content with organizational goals.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and help grow our online community.
- Stay updated on social media trends to enhance content strategy.
- Experience with social media platforms
- Strong writing and storytelling skills.
- Basic photo and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar tools).
- We will provide a Canva Pro account for you!
- Passion for adaptive sports, disability advocacy, or inclusive athletics.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Help grow an exciting, inclusive adaptive sport.
- Gain experience in social media marketing and content creation.
- Be part of a supportive community passionate about Volt Hockey.
- Build a portfolio showcasing your creative work.
- Recieve access to your very own Canva Pro account.

The United States Volt Hockey Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2022 to serve as the leading organization for the expansion and regulation of volt hockey in the USA. The USVHA hopes to foster the growth of volt hockey by helping new teams become established across the country, providing resources for training and refereeing, and hosting both national and international tournaments.
